The Story – Read the Bible in 31 Weeks

Onalaska United Methodist Church is embarking on the greatest story ever told. Throughout this Sunday School year, September to May, our church is reading through the Bible, the story of God’s loving relationship with his people.

This is your story. This is my story.

Most important of all, this is God’s story.

If you know some of the great Bible stories – Noah and the ark, David and Goliath, Daniel in the lion’s den, the birth of Jesus, Peter walking on water, the feeding of 5000, the crucifixion and resurrection – The Story will help you put the pieces together to see the full sweep of history and your place in it.

Learn the upper story of God’s great plan for all creation, and the lower story of human relationships with each other and God. See how God has lovingly guided people, how he entered the story through Jesus Christ, how the story involves us today, and get a sneak peek at the story’s end.

We are discussing The Story during Sunday School each week at 9:45am, as well in sermons throughout the year. Join one of the following classes:

  • Adults Heritage room 201/203, with video
  • Grades 8-12 Youth room (downstairs) 106/108, with video
  • Grades 6-7 Room 102 (downstairs-off fellowship hall), with video
  • Preschool-Grade 5 Will meet in various Sunday School rooms
