The Advent, Christmas and New Year seasons can be difficult for people struggling with grief, illness, relationships, or unresolved issues of life. The term “blue Christmas” is historically associated with the longest night of the year, winter solstice, but it has also become linked with the sad feelings people have when they do not feel like being part of the expected holiday festivities.
To address those feelings, we are offering a service of healing and wholeness on Sunday, December 2, at 4:00 pm in the sanctuary. We will share in a time of prayer, reflection, music, Holy Communion and anointing with oil, if desired. This time will be followed by a soup supper in the Fellowship Hall. Pastor Park and our Stephen Ministers will be leading this special worship time. Join us and be comforted. If you would like the services of a Stephen Minister, please contact Elli Molstad: molstadelli@gmail com. or Pastor Park.
