COVID-19: Church for Sunday, March 15, 2020

The short answer is: Yes… but you probably don’t want to actually come to church. Instead, we encourage you to worship with us online:

  • Livestream worship at 8:30 and 11:00 from our YouTube channel.
  • Download the Powerpoint slides so you can follow along…8:30 classic or 11:00 praise.
  • During worship, text prayer requests to Pastor Park at 608-799-4484.
  • Give electronically, or contact the office to request mail-in giving envelopes.

Specifically, please don’t come to church if you are sick, have been sick, or might be sick. Don’t come to church if you are vulnerable (weak immune system, elderly, etc.). Don’t come to church if you are worried or afraid in any way.

If you do come to church, maintain good hand hygiene using the disinfectant gel at the entrances to the sanctuary, and practice “social distancing” by avoiding physical contact and maintaining several feet of personal space.

We will not have Sunday School classes, nursery, puppets, or choir at church this Sunday. We do plan to serve cake during the fellowship hour in honor of the new members. (New members might not be present for the very good reasons listed above, but we’ve got a cake to eat!)

ADDITIONALLY, all groups and meetings for the week of March 15-21 are cancelled. We will offer further updates next week.

AND, all children’s and youth activities will be cancelled while the Onalaska public schools are closed, except for some specific high school SOAR events.

For full details, read Pastor Park’s March 14 letter.
