Church for Sunday, September 13, 2020 (Kingdom 1)

For Sunday, September 13, Paul Bratsch preaches “Right Here, Right Now,” based on Luke 17:20-21. Protests, pandemic, wildfires, unemployment, division. The world seems out of control right now and it’s difficult to know how to respond. Enter Jesus and the thing he talked about more than anything else: The Kingdom of God. Jesus modeled a different way of living and interacting with our world. An intro to the Kingdom of God and why it matters more than ever. This is the first in our seven-week series, “The Kingdom of God.”

Jessica Gobel shares the children’s message. For the God Moment, Becky Barnes talks about Stephen Ministry’s fall focus on growing through disaster and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sandy Koster, Kimberly and Jeff Wadewitz, and Kathi Beane lead hymns and special music at the 8:30a Classic service. Zoe and Melissa deBoer, Pam Klinger and Cathy Novy lead music at the 10:30a Praise service.
