For Sunday, October 11, Zoe de Boer preaches “Party Invitations,” based on Luke 19:1-10. The Kingdom of God is like a party – one that we’re all invited to! But we should also extend that same invitation to every single person on our Earth. This is the fifth message in our seven-week series, “The Kingdom of God.”
Jessica Gobel shares the children’s message. During the God Moment, we’ll celebrate our recent Reconciling vote and take a congregational picture. If you’d like to show special support, wear a bright single-color top.
Sandy Koster, Kimberly and Jeff Wadewitz, and Kathi Beane lead hymns and special music at the 8:30a Classic service. Zoe and Melissa deBoer, and Pam Klinger lead music at the 10:30a Praise service.
Onalaska UMC worship services for this Sunday are in-person and outside! Livestream is also available on our YouTube channel. Weather permitting, wear a mask and bring a lawn chair to sit in. Stop for a quick health screening under the covered drop-off, then set up in the back yard of the church with at least 6′ distancing between you or your family group and others. The north driveway off of Locust Street will be closed. Masks are required throughout the service.
