Instant Church DirectoryDirectory

Instant Church Directory – Our secure online directory is available to members and regular attenders. You must have an email address on file in the directory and create a password to access the directory.

The directory is available as an app for your smartphone or tablet which is automatically kept up-to-date. Click below to download the directory application for Apple, Android or Kindle devices, then follow the directions in the app.

You can also view the directory online, using your email address and password, at http://members.InstantChurchDirectory.com

To add or update your directory information, complete and return the member info form to the church office.

Discipleship

One-Year Bible Plan (PDF) – Read the whole bible in one year. Arranged chronologically, so that related parts of the bible are read together.

Prayer Guide (PDF) – There are many different ways to shape our prayers. Use this four-page guide to try something new.

The Story Plan – Onalaska UMC members read the entire bible September 2016-May 2017, using The Story condensed NIV. Learn about God’s great story and consistent love throughout human history, and about the stories of individual men and women of faith. This plan shows the bible readings for each Sunday. Sermons in the series can be found on our YouTube channel.

Policies

Communion & Anointing Instructions (PDF) – Onalaska UMC’s procedures for communion and anointing. Our preferred method of serving communion is by intinction, or “common cup.” This style of communion is safe, according to a summary in the International Journal of Infectious Disease. We also offer gluten free bread and individual cups at most services as an option.

Safe Sanctuaries Policy (Google Doc) – Onalaska UMC values the safety of our children and youth, and has adopted these policies to protect them. Click for the associated forms referred to in the policy. Updated and approved February 2017.

UffDa Work List (Google Sheet) – Volunteers gather at OUMC Mondays at 9:00am to tackle miscellaneous jobs around the church, then take a coffee and snack break at 10:00am. This is the current job list. Contact the office with questions.

Pray As You Go – Free devotional podcast offered six days each week by British Jesuits. These 10-15 devotions include music, scripture reading, and guided prayer. (http://www.pray-as-you-go.org/)
