Rev. Jenny Arneson was appointed to the Onalaska United Methodist Church in August of 2007. Prior to coming
to Onalaska, she served eight years as one of the pastors at the River Falls United Methodist Church. In the
Wisconsin Conference, she chairs the Board of Higher Education and Student Ministry and is chair of the
District Superintendency Committee for the Chippewa/Heartland Districts.

She has a master’s of divinity degree from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL and entered
ministry after working many years at UW-Eau Claire where she was the head women’s cross country and
track & field coach, the assistant sports information director and the assistant to the athletic director.

Pastor Jenny is originally from Madison. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism Education
and Coaching from UW-Eau Claire and a master’s degree in administration from the University of Iowa.

Pastor Hyun-Suk Kim

Pastor Hyun-Suk Kim was appointed to our church in July of 2004.  His wife is Soonbok Jung and they have 4
children: Tess, Christina, Eloy and Elliot.  Pastor Kim founded a new Methodist Church in On-Yang, Korea
in 1994 and served there for 5 years.  He was an elder member of the Korean Methodist Church and moved
to the United States in 1998 where he studied at Asbury in Kentucky and Wesley in Washington D.C.
He served Eden United Methodist Church in Baltimore, MD as as Associate Pastor for 3 years (2000-2003).

He considers music to be a blessing to his ministry and his major concern in ministry is discipleship through
small groups.  He enjoys playing tennis, swimming, family bicycle riding and is a 'very good' soccer player.
